About Us

Our Eye Clinic

Capitol Hill Vision is here to care for all of your vision needs. We handle everything from comprehensive  eye exams and hard-to-fit contact lenses to eye emergencies, infections, and management/ treatment of eye diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eyes.  Our providers also offer IPL treatments and co-management of eye surgeries such as cataract removal and LASIK.

Your Alternative to Corporate Mediocrity

We want you healthy, seeing your sharpest, and looking your best in our  unique, high-quality eyewear. We proudly support independent eyeglass makers, with a particular focus on glasses made in Europe and Japan.

Our Doctors

Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision – many of which do not have obvious symptoms.

Our  optometric physicians adeptly  explain the results of your eye exam, home-in on  your options, and listen to your eye care needs. They are happy to make recommendations, using evidence-based professional judgment. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing, and treating potential vision/medical problems.

Brett Llewellyn, O.D.

Dr. Llewellyn earned his Bachelors's in Biological Science from Michigan State University. Soon after that Dr. Llewellyn attended the University of California at Berkeley earning his Doctorate of Optometry. He established his private practice in 2001 from scratch, where he is currently seeing patients.

When not helping his patients see, he enjoys hiking in the mountains, sailing, playing/writing music in a band, and traveling. Dr. Llewellyn currently sees patients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Community Outreach & Charity Initiatives
